About this event

  • Event lasts 1 day 9 hours

This immersive brachytherapy workshop, held on November 22 and 23 in London, Ontario, presents an excellent opportunity for trainees and early staff in radiation oncology and medical physics disciplines to gain valuable experience in brachytherapy. By using real-world clinical cases to help bridge the gap between theory and practice, the workshop is designed to help participants refine their expertise in several areas of brachytherapy, including:


  • Patient preparation
  • Procedure
  • Post-procedure care
  • Planning between RO and MP with expert assistance
  • Hands-on experience in anthropomorphic phantoms


In addition to expert training and guidance, the workshop will provide a chance to collaborate and network with other professionals interested in brachytherapy.
