Our rink uses a refrigerated chiller system that keeps the ice frozen and in optimal condition regardless of outdoor temperatures. This means you can enjoy skating even when Mother Nature doesn’t provide freezing weather.
The rink is maintained regularly throughout the day with resurfacing equipment and by monitoring the chiller system to ensure optimal ice conditions, even during peak usage.
The time to resolve maintenance issues varies depending on the nature of the problem. Our team prioritizes safety and efficiency, working as quickly as possible to restore rink operations while ensuring a safe environment.
For the latest updates on rink conditions, closures, or schedule changes, please check our social media channel (@YZDtoronto on Instagram) or your email if you’ve registered. We ensure all updates are communicated promptly to keep you informed.
