Join holistic nutritionist and chef Meg De Jong in this hands on interactive cooking workshop to learn exactly how to do so!

You'll learn how to make healthified versions of your favourite comfort foods and nourish yourself on a body, mind, soul level for the colder months ahead!


What We'll Cover:

  • Foundational knife techniques and chopping skills
  • How to "health-i-fy" your favourite comfort dishes
  • Best practices for cooking to nourish on body, mind, soul level
  • Hands on preparation of various healthified plant based comfort food dishes (see menu below)

What's Included:

  • The info & guidance you need to cook your fave comfort foods: the healthified way!
  • Organic food to prep during the workshop (that we make together) including a delicious plant based dinner to enjoy
  • Food to bring home that we prepare during the workshop (bring containers!)
  • An e-book featuring the recipes from the workshop

Who's this Workshop For?

This workshop is perfect for both new and experienced chefs alike. The only requirement is to come hungry and ready to cook.

Please feel free to come solo, with a friend, a family member, or bring a special someone!


What's on the Menu?

  • Healthified Mac & Cheeze: featuring sourdough noodles, a melt in your mouth sweet potato cheese sauce, and a cashew parmesan crumble (gf option available)
  • Healthified Sloppy Joe’s: featuring a mouth watering lentil tomato filling on a gluten free Queen Street Bakery bun - served aside a fresh greens salad
  • Healthified Hot Chocolate: aka my famous, heavenly creamy cacao latte!
  • The World's BEST Chocolate Chunk Cookies: gluten free, dairy free, and made without refined flours - these cookies are sure to blow you away!

  • Be sure to bring your best chopping knife & containers to bring food home with you

Meghan De Jong is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and whole foods based chef, based out of Vancouver, B.C. Meg helps bring awareness to the connection between mental health and physical health - with a special focus on teaching people how their nutrition can be used as a tool to manage their anxiety. Meg brings a warm and passionate energy to her events which are highly informative, applicable, and loads of fun! In her spare time, you can find Meg in the garden growing vegetables or in the kitchen crafting up delicious healthified recipes with whatever is in season!
