THE HEALTHY SENIOR SERIES

There is a rising number of seniors in our community who would benefit from frank discussions and access to the many resources available but not always known. As we age, every effort must be made to ensure that our quality of life is maximized. For this reason, several groups have come together to deliver the Healthy Senior Series. This three part series will introduce participants to resources that will help them create healthy bodies, healthy minds, and healthy finances. Our first session will be the “Healthy Body” workshop.

It is important to be deliberate and take charge of our health. This means making wise choices around physical fitness, diet, interacting with medical professionals, and surrounding oneself with a support network of people who value a healthy lifestyle.

Our event will feature TaiChi and exercise activities, along with experts discussing nutrition, exercise, and overall wellness tips tailored specifically for older adults.
