This drag show is produced by a settler Latino with roots in Wallmapu lands of Chile and has lived on unceded Lekwungen territory for 16 years. The protocol of Lekwungen territories is to recognize the land we are on, its peoples who are native to it, and thank those who cared for it generations. This acknowledgment comes at the beginning of every gathering, ceremony or event, so as is the producers practice, this drag show will begin in this good way. The Lekwungen speaking territories are land that was forcibly stolen from its peoples so please attend this event respecting the space, this land and the performers belonging to marginalized communities, especially the brilliant Indigenous artists featured in this lineup and let's come together to live our lives in a way that not only uplifts and celebrates Indigenous peoples but takes on the challenge of dismanting social and systemic oppression.
