Frequently asked questions

My dawg is considered an "aggressive breed" but is the sweetest daw ever, can I still bring him/her?

While we love ALL dawg breeds, unfortunately due to insurance restrictions "aggressive breeds" aren't covered by our insurance policy so are unable to attend.

Can I bring my new puppy?

Everyone loves a puppy, however if your puppy doesn't have bladder control we would ask that your puppy please "sit" this one out, and join us next year!

My dawg has anxiety, but I really want to bring him/her. Is that ok?

We want all our guests to enjoy themselves, and like humans not all dawgs are social butterflies. We would recommend your pup stay home and relax.

Are you serving the dawgs brunch?

Each dawg has a special diet and we know not to mess with it. However, we will be offering the pups a special treat during brunch.

Is there a place for my dawg to relive itself?

Yes! The Westin Bayshore Hotel is dawg friendly and has a lovely relief area just outside the Grand Ballroom.

My dawg isn't vaccinated, but titre tested. Is this ok?

While we prefer all dawgs be vaccinated, we are open to titre testing. Please email your titre testing results to carey@herodawgs.org prior to purchasing your tickets.
