Our next in our series of HiFi Meet and Greets features musical selections from two of streaming's most committed champions..
Few live and breathe music as much as David Solomon, VP at popular music streaming service Qobuz. We are thrilled he will join us at the store for the first time.
dCS managing director David Steven will be joining us as well. From their Lina streaming DAC, up to the monumental Vivaldi Apex system, dCS's hardware features prominantly in our finest systems. We haven't had David in JS Audio in a decade, and are thrilled he's making the trip from England to share his favorites.
Food, drinks, and music will be shared!
We expect a full house - Feel free to bring a friend, and please RSVP accordingly!
An avid drummer, Solomon came to Qobuz with one of the most diverse backgrounds in the high-end audio industry. His wide-spanned career encompasses sales, education, talent acquisition, sales management, distribution, branding and manufacturing.
Having co-founded Peachtree Audio in 2004 and having assisted Tidal launch their Hi-Res streaming service, he joined Qobuz in 2018 as VP of business development and full-time Chief Hi Res Music Evangelist.
JS Audio's Dave and Steve got to know him while sharing our Wilson WAMM Serial #1 project with the world in 2022, and gave him full control over the dCS Vivaldi for half an hour. A wonderful flash DJ session!
It should be enough fun, that we've managed to entice David Steven to fly out from Cambridge for the night.
Following in his father's footsteps, this second generation owner ensures dCS continues to push the sense of space and musicality we've come to appreciate. He's particularly looking forward to interacting directly with our many committed Lina, Bartok, Rossini, and Vivaldi owners.
