About this event

Create your own unique, eco-friendly gift wrap with SUPPLY Victoria Creative Reuse Centre, taught by local artist Valerie Salez! Using secondhand and upcycled materials like stamps, printmaking, and drawing, you’ll design custom wrapping paper that’s both sustainable and personal. All materials provided!

To take part in this workshop, you must register ahead of time! Walk-ins will not be accepted. Only 16 spots are available per workshop.

Register yourself or a small group for this free workshop. All spots are first come, first served and spots are limited! Children under 10 will be asked to work alongside a parent or guardian. Please register any children attending so that they have a seat.

Note: If you or your registered group are unable to attend, we ask that you please cancel your registration(s) so another group can have the opportunity to participate in this popular activity! Please cancel your order through Eventbrite.

Where should I park? The Bay Centre offers free one-hour parking on weekends! The underground parkade is located off View Street just west of their View Street Entrance. Parking | Bay Centre Shopping Centre (thebaycentre.ca)

*Exclusions & limitations: For customers of Bay Centre only. First-come, first-serve. Drivers must register their vehicle at one of the three pay stations available onsite or through the Honk Mobile app to redeem offer. Unauthorized users will be ticketed. Program subject to change.

What is the cost?

Workshops are free courtesy of the City of Victoria’s OUR DWTN.

How long will the workshop take?

Each workshop is approximately 60 minutes in length. Folks are welcome to stay a bit longer if they need more time to finish their project.

What ages are the workshops suited for?

Anyone is welcome to attend; however, children under 10 will be asked to work alongside a parent or guardian. Please register any children attending so that they have a seat.

Should I bring anything?

All materials will be provided. Printmaking can be fun and messy! Make sure you wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on.
