COOKING TIPS:
Choose one or two recipes and join us in the cooking demonstration. You are
WELCOME to attempt them all, but that may be ambitious.. but we like ambitious. But to
not be overwhelmed, try just doing a couple of recipes with us.
The grape leaves take a lot of time and require a crockpot to cook them overnight (stove
top is also possible, but a crockpot/ instant pot is best) If you are making these with us
the rice needs to be soaked the night before
If you will be making the Tofurky with us, we suggest you make the stuffing the night
before and soak the cashews or sunflower seeds the night before as well. If you make
the stuffing with us, take your bread out of the freezer 1 hour before the class.
If making the apple crumble and you want to peel the apples, we suggest doing this 1
hour before the class as peeling takes a long time.
For the fattoush salad, you will want to toast the pita bread in the morning or the night
before.
