What’s Included:

Yoga for Healthy Longevity

In this class you will learn how to improve stability and strength in your body! This class is built on movement science, somatics and fascia activation. When the body isn’t stable increased anxiety can be experienced because the nervous system is on high alert to keep the body protected. This constant anxiety can directly influence our hormones and longevity so by building more stability and strength , the body feels safer and can let go of unwanted tension.

The second half of class will include some restorative/yin yoga to help you settle into deeper relaxation. This can help to regulate and reset your nervous system which supports hormone balance.


Intentional Nutrition: Hormone & Longevity Workshop

In this session you will learn about:

-the impact hormones have on your energy, mood, and overall health & longevity.

- the nutrients to support hormonal harmony today and in the future

- practical lifestyle tips for managing stress, improving sleep quality and vibrant vitality


Hormone & Longevity Sweet Treats Sampling Session

Indulge in a hormone-supporting mini sweet treats sampling session crafted to support your body's natural rhythms while satisfying your sweet tooth! These decadent bites are packed with nutrient-dense ingredients known to boost mood, support hormone vitality, promote longevity and nourish you from the inside out! Recipes will also be available for you to take home!

Guided Yoga Nidra Meditation, Essential Oils & Sound Bath

Experience a guided meditation that supports deeper rest which is where we do our best healing. There will also be an optional essential oil blend offered that supports hormone health while you relax in stillness.

Class will finish with a short soundbath using sound healing as another tool to help balance the body. This session is also an amazing tool for stress relief which supports longevity and hormone balance.

There will also be some complimentary yoga nidra recordings offered as well that you can use at home.

Introducing Joanna Brown

Joanna is a multi-business entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. As a Mindful Eating Coach and Functional Hormone Nutrition Practitioner, she focuses on helping you gain more energy, boost your mood, ease stress and anxiety, and master hormone vitality.

Joanna works with people around the globe who have “tried it all” to support their gut and hormones to address the root cause of burnout, exhaustion, anxiety, brain fog, sluggish metabolism, and general hormone and digestive concerns. Joanna is passionate about empowering people to feel confident, in alignment, and in control of their bodies again!

Joanna is a speaker, published author, Holistic Nutrition & Transformational Lifestyle Coach, Top 40 under 40, National Food Insecurity Advocate, & Well-Being Educator that has dedicated her life’s work to collaboratively working with busy people to create health & wealth within their mind, body, and life.

Joanna holds her Bachelors Degree in Community Rehabilitation & Health Studies Degree, with a focus on Mental Health from the Faculty of Education, as well as a Rehabilitation Practitioner and Holistic Nutrition Diploma. She also holds her Certifications and Accreditations in the areas of Mindful Eating, Functional Hormones, Holistic Weight-Loss, CBT Therapy, Professional Life Coach, & Chef.

Introducing Janelle Ford
Yoga came into my life when dealing with chronic stress and burnout so I decided to take a teacher training for personal growth... but that quickly turned into teaching and then eventually owning a wellness studio!

I have a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Alberta specializing in Active Living, Health & Well-being which then led me into personal training, athletic training and strength and conditioning coaching for mens lacrosse teams. I have completed numerous yoga trainings including a 500HR YTT, yin yoga, restorative yoga, aroma yoga, trauma sensitive yoga, yoga nidra, movement template, meditation, healthy aging, sound healing and activate your asana for high performance aging.

I am the founder of Pigeon Lake Wellness Mobile Studio and I offer mobile classes and retreats at a variety of locations at the lake and in Edmonton.

I love supporting others through fun gatherings, connection and in their overall wellness & longevity. I teach with the hope that I can help others experience the many benefits that come from intentional and functional movement. I am passionate about supporting people in their mobility so that they can maintain their health and independence their entire life. And most importantly that they feel lifted, loved, supported and cared for each time they step on to their mat.
