Intro to HTML/CSS Workshop

The Intro to HTML & CSS workshop is open to Grade 8-12 students who are interested in learning the basics of HTML and CSS and how to use them for making web pages. This workshop is beginner-friendly and will use CodePen. Don’t forget to review the workshop overview and requirements before registering!


Summary of Workshop Details

Date: Mar 15, 2025 (Sat)

Time: 10 am-12 pm

Grade: 8-12

Cost: Free

Location: Virtual via Zoom. The meeting link will be opened 30 minutes before the workshop starts for students to test their setup (e.g. is your audio working?).

Additional Notes

  • The Zoom link will be sent out a week before the event.
  • We use the same learning materials in past workshops. If you attended a workshop with the same description, the materials presented will be the same. However, if you need a refresher on that specific topic, please feel free to join the workshop again!
  • The meeting link will be open 30 minutes before the workshop starts for attendees to test their setup (e.g. is your audio working?).
  • Please only sign up if you can attend the workshop and please cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you can no longer attend the workshop. Please be respectful of these guidelines so that we can continue to offer such programs at no cost.
