Shared group sessions at The Morpheus Clinic for Hypnosis are an easy and low-commitment way to experience hypnosis for the first time, to maintain a positive mindset after you’ve been a private client with us, or to receive more of the ideas discussed in our free podcast, How to Be an Adult.
This group for learning all the right attitudes for becoming self-motivated meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m., at The Morpheus Clinic for Hypnosis at 49 Elm Street in downtown Toronto.
Each of our nightly classes is unique, since they are live and unscripted experiences. Since we are leading from the front and speaking to the group’s common concerns and shared humanity, there’s no need to share your private thoughts with other participants, unless you really want to: this is not group therapy. It’s essentially “guided meditation,” but we use the word hypnosis because it’s a more candid description of what’s happening when we give you guidance for your inner world (we’ll leave meditators alone to quietly observe their own thoughts).
Clarity about what isn’t really you gives you the freedom to identify and live as your most authentic self. After a few visits, it will no longer be a mystery how some of your neighbours and colleagues can exist on the same planet, in the same year as you, and be much more relaxed. The content of each session will vary depending on the group, since we take requests at the start of the class, but the core message will be centred around these suggestions:
- You will love and care for yourself for no reason other than that you are alive, with physical and financial needs.
- You will take your own side, and set your heart and mind on success, not failure.
- Every mountain is climbed one foothold at a time, and every marathon is won one step at a time.
Depending on the consensus of the group, we sometimes focus on specific requests in addition to the above.
