About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join us for four social evenings to launch you into the ice-climbing season with our season kick-off series. Gain local ice knowledge, learn about gear, stay safe in avalanche terrain, and connect with fellow ice climbers.

What to Expect: A casual & social evening series with Q&A sessions to help guide you through the nuances of West Coast ice climbing: Ask all those questions you have about how to find the ice and the conditions. Bring in your gear and let us help you set things up right, meet fellow ice climbers, learn to assess avalanche dangers and which routes to avoid. Join us as we break down the barriers to entering this wonderfully magical sport.

This event is brought to you by Climb On Equipment, in partnership with Straight and Narrow, Avalanche Canada and your favorite gear companies.
