There are many hotel options available in the area. Please book early and take advantage of rates offered on Expedia, Hotels.com and other travel booking sites to secure a rate that meets your budget. You can always cancel your booking if your plans change.

Do I need a rental car to get from the airport to the conference? If I do, will it be reimbursed?

No, the conference venue will be accessible by the Canada Line SkyTrain system so that participants can take advantage of this low cost and efficient mode of transportation. Please note: Rental cars, taxis and rideshare expenses, and parking at the hotel will not be reimbursed by the NIFSC.

Is there any financial support for travel to and from the conference?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer financial assistance for individuals wishing to attend the event. For those seeking financial support, we encourage you to reach out to your Band Office or ISC regional offices to seek assistance.

Are lunches provided during the conference?

Yes, lunch will be provided during the conference. Coffee and tea will also be available during breaks.

Will the pre-conference training and/or conference sessions be in English or French?

The sessions will all take place in English. The conference program will be available in English and French.

Can I register on the morning of the conference?

Registration is anticipated to sell out before the conference begins. Please register online to secure your spot.
