Have you joined us for a Taiko Hour, Beginner Workshop or have previous experience playing taiko, and are ready to level-up your taiko skills?

Midnight Taiko Kai is now offering an Intermediate Workshop! During this series, you will further progress your beta form, stance and striking technique. You will develop a basic understanding of the subdivision of the beat, and learn drills and exercises that improve your dexterity and rhythmic sensibilities. You will gain a deeper understanding of kuchi-shoga, and learn a new song which includes exciting rhythmic ‘ka’ patterns and choreography!

The Intermediate Workshop takes place on 2 consecutive Sunday evenings as follows:

Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 6:15 PM - 8:30 PM

Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 6:15 PM to 8:30 PM

They offer private and public performances, and hold a variety of fun and educational workshops for anyone who wants to give Taiko a try.
