International Day of Peace - Bike for Peace

🚴‍♂️🕊️ Ride for Peace this World Peace Day! Join us on Saturday, September 21st for a meaningful 20 km cycling journey as we visit sites of faith and unity, including the Ummah Mosque, and St. Andrews United Church.

Departing at 10:30 AM from the Dalhousie Bike Centre, we'll ride together to visit the Peace Pavillion at around 11 am, then the Ummah Mosque for food and tea at 11:20 and St. Andrews United Church to join with peace walkers finishing the last kilometer of their 200 km journey from Pugwash Nova Scotia to the Dalhousie Student Union Building, after which a lunch will be provided and bikers will have the option of joining the walkers for their afternoon programming.


Morning Biking Program:


10:30 am | Depart from Bike Centre

11:00 | Peace Pavillion, Return across Macdonald Bridge

11:20 am | Ummah Mosque, Break + Refreshments,

12:00 pm | St. Andrews United Church for Greeting
