Intro to Electrical: Homeowners course

Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed by electrical issues in your home? Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn everything you need to know about electrical systems in your house. Our expert instructors will cover topics like basic wiring, safety tips, and how to troubleshoot common problems. Don't miss this opportunity to gain the knowledge and confidence to tackle electrical projects on your own!

Hera Electric helps women feel confident in their abilities to complete electrical installations within their own homes with an intro to electrical course. This course highlights everything you need to know about electrical work within your home. The course is open to everyone but some classes will be exclusively women only. The mission behind this is to make women feel more comfortable learning aspects of trades in a comfortable environment as most women don’t get opportunities to learn trades skills. You will learn how to replace fixtures, plugs, and switches. You will learn how to pull a homeowner’s permit, what national codes need to be followed, and what provincial regulations need to be followed. Many homes have aluminum wiring, you will leave with the ability to decide what option is best for your situation. Most importantly you will leave with the knowledge to complete any electrical project in your home and will not need to hire a contractor.
