Welcome to Intro to Online Safety!

Join us for a fun and engaging 3-hour workshop created for adult learners who want to learn essential skills in online safety and security. This introductory session will cover topics like recognizing common online threats, browsing the web securely, managing passwords, and keeping your personal information safe from cyberattacks. We'll use practical examples to help you feel more confident navigating the internet and safeguarding your online presence. Empower yourself with the knowledge to stay safe in today's digital world.

This workshop is for age 16 and up, with interest in learning coding.

Where is this class held:

Participants are invited to join us virutally on Google Meet

What to expect:

  • 3 hours of training with a highly skilled educator in a supportive and fun learning environment.
  • Opportunity to ask questions and learn in a welcoming environment

What you will need:

  • A computer, laptop or chromebook with an internet connection
  • Access to Google Meet
  • A webcam and headphones would be helpful too
