About this event

Learn the basics of power tools in this one-day workshop at Intersections Wood Collaborative. Relax and have some fun as we use almost every tool in the shop to build a tool box. Women can be excellent woodworkers, and this is the perfect workshop to get you started.

Learn to use the following tools: table saw, circular saw, mitre saw, router, jig saw, band saw, drill press, sander, cordless drill and router table.

Jennifer Hart has been a woodworker for almost 25 years. While working at Lee Valley Tools she thought she’d try her hand at teaching. Nineteen years later she has taught thousands of people how to use power tools. She’s passionate about giving women the opportunity to learn new skills and become self-reliant.

This is a one day workshop, beginning at 9:00 am and ending at around 4:00 pm.

Beginners welcome!

Workshop Cost: $100. Small materials fee payable to instructor.
