What is a Storytell Social?
Storytell Socials are all about connecting with others through sharing stories from our personal experiences. Each gathering invites you to share meaningful moments from your life, sparking dialogue and understanding across diverse perspectives and experiences. Our guided prompts encourage real, authentic exchanges, helping you connect with others on a deeper level beyond small talk.
Whether you're flying solo or with friends, this event is the perfect way to connect with new people, share your story, or simply listen.
January's theme: New Chapters
What chapter are you in right now? Have you had one that can't be topped, or is the best one yet to come?
The start of a new year is the perfect time to reflect on New Chapters - those pivotal moments in our lives when we embarked on a new path, be in it love, life, a career, or anything in between.
What to expect:
- Event is open 30 minutes early for mingling and give you time to grab a drink and/or snack
- 6:30 pm: hosts will welcome everyone, give out welcome cards, and go over guidelines to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Attendees will have a chance to discuss the theme in breakout groups
- Storytelling: attendees will share their stories (if they wish) and have a chance to ask questions of other's stories
- 8:30 Event will wrap up but feel free to stay at Mossop's to enjoy more drinks/food and keep the conversations going!
