Join us this February as The Pilot proudly presents the 3rd annual Tribute to Black History Month, celebrating the significant contributions of the Black community to the world of jazz. Every Saturday throughout February, we will feature live performances by talented local Black jazz musicians, showcasing a variety of jazz styles.
In addition to the music, we will also have special presentations by local historians and writers, including Edward Brown and poet laureate George Elliott Clarke. These presentations will explore the legacy of past Black jazz icons, offering both entertainment and education throughout the month.
