JETAA Toronto Raku Pottery Event

Come join us for a fun-filled day at the Dundas Valley School of Art for our upcoming Raku Pottery Event! Get your hands dirty and create beautiful pottery pieces under the guidance of experienced instructors. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity. Don't miss out on this opportunity to mingle with fellow JET alumni and enjoy a day of pottery making. See you there!

A light lunch snack will be provided. Please bring food or money to purchase food from a local restaurant if you'd like something more substantial.

What is Raku?
Raku is a unique Japanese pottery technique in which pottery is taken out of a kiln when it’s red hot and materials such as horsehair, feathers and sawdust burn on the surface of the ceramic object to create one of a kind patterns on the pottery pieces.
