Jilly Frances will be featuring her Ground collection, with new pieces from her subseries, Place, made from the ground and marking neighbourhoods we call home (Parkdale, Roncesvalles, Forest Hill, Annex, and more).
Jilly Frances earmarks the residue of daily life, reflecting back to us passing moments that are both present and fleeting. Recognizing the ephemeral nature of time and light, Jilly turns ordinary bits of ground, moving skies, and flickering shadows into galaxies of their own. Come take a moment with the art and the artist and find yourself in her work.
For the opening night only, Jilly will also be presenting the entirety of her daily Skies series from the past five years dating from 2020 until now, offering an opportunity to mark memories in a meaningful way.
