About this event
- Event lasts 3 hours
Join us for the last TELL! of the year
Join us for our community open mic and potluck dinner. This year we have had so many great artists in the community stop by and share their works and talents. Not to mention the great cooks. We’ve had dancers, musicians, singers, mini lectures, a juggler, and more! Our online auction also wraps up in the evening at 10pm. It’ll be your last chance to make bids and you’ll be able to pick up the item that night as well!
Come share your works and passions, your hopes and dreams, as well as your worries and sorrows. A lot has happened over the course of this year, and as we head into the colder months, we can't emphasize how important it is to have community during this time.
Let’s wrap up the year in good cheer and a warm meal. Let us drink and be merry! *
*non-alcoholic, tea, coffee and water. Bring a cup and help us cut down on waste!
About TELL!
TELL! is MT Space's coffeehouse open-mic style event offering the community an artistic platform to share their works in a casual setting. These sharings can be performances, stories, lectures, poetry, drag, fine art displays -- any type of creation.
We know that art and food bring people together like nothing else. Join us for a potluck meal and bring a food offering* to share if you're able to. We'll provide plates, cutlery, and beverages (coffee, tea, and water). Help us reduce waste by bringing in your own reusable cups, bottles, mugs for water and coffee!
*Please include an ingredients list for any dishes you bring.
You can join us during our Annual General Meeting at 6:00PM (Free to attend)
AGM wraps up around 7:00PM.TELL! begins around 7:30PM
TELL! is a free event. Families with small children are also welcomed.
Thinking of performing? Here's what you need to know:
TELL! is a platform that offers you time and space to share something that you've created, or something you've been working on, like:
- an idea
- a script
- story
- song
- something else!
Use this as an opportunity to get feedback from an engaged audience of fellow artists and community members, or simply show us what you've got!
This event is low/no tech. Bring anything you may need for your performance/presentation, including multiple amps for instruments. There will be music stands available, a single amp, an acoustic guitar, an ukulele, and an electronic keyboard.
