Yes! As long as they have basic manners, this is a perfect way to make lifelong friends (and even just practise social skills). Some kids in the youth group started playing together at very young ages and have built deep friendships.

Do we need to prepare a character sheet ahead of time?

If you know how to then you absolutely can make a character sheet! There are pre-generated characters available so the kids can jump in and play, but they usually want to make their own character by the second game.

The venue isn't open that early, is there really a game?

Yes, Kimberly opens the doors a little earlier so the little ones can enjoy the game space without having to worry too much about noise or strangers around the kiddos.
