Join us for Labyrinthine Soundscape: an immersive evening of stillness, sound and peace. Experience a rich blend of music, nature sounds, and ambient noise, designed to evoke a reflective evening of sound and solitude. This event offers a meditative space to connect with the sounds around us, fostering a sense of peace. Doors close at 8:45. Suggested donation $15 If comfortably affordable, thank you.

Drop by for a bit and let the healing vibrations wash over you as you walk the labyrinth or bring your yoga mat and stay for the entire sound bath! About the muscians:

Our percussionist for the evening, Andrew, is an electroacousting multi-instrumentalist combining classical training and imaginative free improvisionation to craft soundscapes inspired by comminal intention and co-creation. Based locally in Chinatown, he can be found sharing sounds in ceremony, facilitating small group soundbaths, and noodling around whenever there is a free improv jam.


Laura, who will be playing crystal singing bowls, is a certifed sound healing practitioner and guided meditation teacher. A Vancouver local, she can often be found at the labyrinth and on Instagram @ laura_at_the_labyrinth.


Frequently asked questions

Can I wear my shoes?

Please note that shoes must be removed while in the labyrinth space, however we can provide shoe covers for people who must keep their shoes on to be able to walk the labyrinth.

Can bring my yoga mat?

Yes, there is limited space for yoga mats on a first come, first served basis.

Can I bring my coffee in with me?

You are welcome to bring bottled water but no other food or beverages are permitted in the labyrinth space.

Is the labyrinth accessible?

Yes, via a chair lift.

Is this event suitable for all ages?

Yes, children of all ages are welcome!

Where should I park?

There is meter parking on Davie Street for $1/hour and there is a paid parking lot one block away at 1237 Davie Street - $5 evening flat rate (6pm - 6am).
