The Lake Links 2024 theme is "Planning for Change: The Ripple Effect of Lake Planning". We are excited to meet with participants from across Ontario and beyond to learn, network, and see what’s new in our lake and river communities! Join us on Sunday, October 26th, 2024 from 10am-3pm ET (doors will open at 9:30am).

If you are able, please bring non-perishable food items which will be donated to the local food bank.


Lake Links 2024 is generously funded by Cataraqui Conservation, Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Associations, Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority, and Rideau Valley Conservation Authority.

The current Lake Links Planning Committee has representatives from Cataraqui Conservation, Friends of the Tay Watershed, Lake Networking Group, Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority, Rideau Valley Conservation Authority, and Watersheds Canada.

What is Lake Links?

Lake Links is a collaborative one-day workshop held every October. It attracts citizens and scientists to share ways we can help sustain our lakes and rivers. Individuals spread across five watersheds in Eastern Ontario and beyond attend this day-long event to learn, network and see what’s new.

Will this be a hybrid event?

No, this event is an in-person event.

Will there be food at the event?

Yes, coffee, snacks, and lunch will be provided and are included in the price of a ticket.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is free parking at the venue.

What is the agenda for the event?

An agenda will be released closer to the date of the event! Stay tuned.

Is any portion of my ticket eligible for a Canadian income tax receipt?
