Laughter QigongQigong is an ancient healing art that developed thousands of years ago in China. The goal of Qigong is to increase overall health and vitality by achieving balance in an individuals physical, mental, emotional and energetic bodies. Qi Gong practitioners practice visualization, gentle movements, deep breathing and meditation to promote healing from within.

The Five Elements in Qi Gong, are Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. Each of these elements represents a an aspect of nature and the human body. Each also represents an organ system within the body governing a specific emotion. This provides a road map for understanding how emotional energy is generated and how it flows through the body.

Laughter Qigong helps balance these elements within the body to promote mental and physical health as well as maintain emotional well-being. First, energetic blocks and unhelpful energies are removed. These are then replaced with healthier and more balance energy thereby restoring a natural state of physical vitality, mental clarity and emotional harmony. In this workshop we will have a chance to learn about the Five Elements and to move through dynamic Laughter Qigong exercises.
