About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

We all know that waste in our industry is a challenge, and we want to help shape the future. We’re partnering with Metro Vancouver to influence how we manage solid waste, particularly textiles.

Join us for an interactive exercise led by textile waste experts from Debrand, Our Social Fabric and Fabcycle where you can share your thoughts on the future of textile waste. Your insights will be shared directly with the Metro Vancouver team. We’ll kick off the evening with an update on the current state of our industry from board members Sarah Murray, the Program Coordinator, Fashion and Creative courses at VCC, and Paul King of KenDor Textiles. We'll end the night with networking to give you time to connect with your peers.

Attendance is free, and light snacks and refreshments will be provided!
