The ASIS International Toronto Chapter 193 is a volunteer-run local chapter of ASIS International (www.asisonline.org), a global community of security practitioners, each of whom has a role in the protection of assets - people, property, and/or information.Our members represent virtually every industry in the public and private sectors, and organizations of all sizes. Erin is a seasoned HR leader with a career built on navigating the complex intersection of people, performance, and change. As Senior Manager of Talent Management at Genetec, she partners with executive leadership to drive organizational strategy, empower managers, and create the conditions where high-performing teams thrive—even in high-stakes, fast-changing environments.
With certifications in SPHR, Six Sigma, and advanced coaching techniques grounded in neuroscience, Erin blends analytical rigor with emotional intelligence. Her approach to leadership development and organizational culture is practical, backed by science, and infused with a deep belief in growth, autonomy, and the power of clear communication—even when the stakes are high.
A lifelong learner, Erin is known for her candid perspective, creative energy, and ability to guide tough conversations with grace and impact. She lives in Atlanta with her two daughters and is always up for a challenge. 

Guest Speaker

Ellie Hughes is a passionate advocate for empowering women and building inclusive workplaces. A 2025 SIA Women in Security Forum Power 100 Honoree, she leads the ASIS Ottawa Women in Security Committee and manages sales for Securitas in Eastern Canada.
Originally from the UK, Ellie spent 15 years as a Police Officer before transitioning to the corporate world, driven by a desire to foster meaningful connections and deliver impactful solutions. After relocating to Canada in 2022, she embraced the challenge of starting over, drawing on resilience, empathy, and leadership to make a lasting impact in her new community.
Ellie’s journey—from law enforcement to corporate leadership—has been one of transformation, courage, and purpose, marked by adaptability, emotional growth, and a drive to uplift others

Jackie is a progressive leader who fully embraces new technologies and client-centric strategies, ensuring both employees and clients are educated on best practices and emerging security trends.
 
With over 10 years of experience in the security industry, Jackie has developed a reputation for building strong client relationships, creating tailored security solutions, and fostering collaboration between manufacturers and service providers.
 
She is passionate about empowering employees, fostering innovation, and driving inclusivity in the industry. Jackie believes that investing in people and providing them with purpose is what drives long-term success. By merging talent with technology, she helps elevate the security industry and make the world a safer place.

Cadisha Miceli is a passionate leader in security management, currently serving as Senior Security Coordinator for the City of Toronto. She oversees operations for the St. Lawrence Market District—one of the city's most iconic and dynamic areas.
A graduate of the University of Guelph Humber’s Justice Studies Program, Cadisha has over a decade of experience built on resilience, purpose, and results-driven leadership. From the front lines to being named one of the Security Industry Association’s Power 100, she continues to challenge industry norms and uplift others. Beyond her work with ASIS International’s Toronto Chapter’s Women in Security Committee, Cadisha is a mentor with Newcomer Women Services Toronto and a proud member of the City of Toronto’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. Guided by her Christian values, Cadisha doesn’t just lead—she inspires and empowers those around her.
