About this event

  • Event lasts 5 hours 30 minutes

Liminal Assembly takes co-working to the next level once again, inviting you to meet-up at the impossibly empty Tannery Mall in Newmarket for an afternoon of quiet work, observation and networking. Make use of the empty seats to close out your Friday tasks. Featured by BlogTo and the New York Post, Liminal Assembly is known for bringing people to Liminal Spaces for surreal occasions. Please note: WIFI and outlets are NOT guarenteed.

Frequently asked questions

Will there be Wifi?

No - be prepared to hotspot yourself or bring work that doesn't rely on internet (ie. journal, a book, etc)

Will there be power outlets?

While there are likely power outlets, they aren't conveniently located near tables. Come with charged devices and a back-up plan (laptop + book).

Are we allowed to do this?

Good question. The Tannery Mall currently functions as the defacto Newmarket GO train station and houses a number of public service offices. I've come multiple times to take photos/walk around without issue, but we can't guarantee our welcome. Consider this a friendly experiment :)

What if I need to arrive late/leave early?

That's fine, but note that the parking lot asks for a fee if you choose to drive in. You may enter/depart from Newmarket GO at any time during the event.

Will it be busy?

No.
