Otherwise is an artistic community hub in what is currently known as Guelph Ontario, hosting creative minds of all ages for art-making and community-building. With a focus on fostering space for skill-building, mess-making, and collaborations, Otherwise actively works with community partners and members so everyone can access the arts and express their creativity.

Smackjive is a 8-piece solar-powered Funk brigade from Kitchener/Waterloo. Created by the love of the stanky groove and all that is funky under the sun, Smackjive serves to preserve the motion of the hips. The band pulls inspiration from classic funk artists such as Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder and Parliament, as well as current artists such as The Motet, Turkuaz, Lettuce and Dumpstaphunk. Their sound is powerful and electrifying. With their deep arsenal of driving bass lines, melodic horns, energetic guitars and powerful vocals, Smackjive's irresistible groove will transport you into another dimension.
