About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

The group based course introduces techniques that help you deal better with negative thinking and make it through life transitions (going to college, grieving, etc.).

Although there is minimal screening, we do not recommend this course for those experiencing active psychosis, suicidal thoughts or unaddressed trauma.

This is not therapy or counselling but rather a general mental health promotion course, focusing on resilience. You will build skills and knowledge using CBT principles. The course is meant to change your life but not save it.

The course will be for youth aged 13 to 18 years old. The course will consist of 8 – 90min sessions that will begin Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 4pm. The following dates will be booked for sessions -

Wednesday April 16, 2025, at 4pm- 5:30pm
