Join the Carbon Leadership Forum (CLF) Alberta and Emissions-Neutral Buildings Information Exchange (ENBIX) in this 3-hour workshop about embodied carbon reduction strategies for building design and construction practices.
In this workshop, participants will understand the context of embodied carbon in buildings and learn the significance of Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Attendees will work through a scenario to learn skills in evaluating EPDs, including avoiding “greenwashing” and making the right choice for your project. By reducing embodied carbon, your company can gain a competitive edge and build more resilient projects.
This workshop is perfect for medium- or large-size builders, developers, architects, owners, and anyone else interested in embodied carbon in the built environment in Alberta.
- The event will take place at the Westin Edmonton in the “YUKON” room
- Light snacks will be provided.
- If cost is a barrier to attend, please email info@enbix.ca.
- Tickets are non-refundable
This workshop is being brought to you by Alberta Ecotrust Foundation (ENBIX).
