Come see Halifax’s finest professional and hobby magicians amaze, bewilder and surprise you at the illustrious Trident Booksellers & Cafe. The magicians of the Halifax Magic Club will perform incredible magic, mentalism, and more, in intimate surroundings. Tickets are limited.


Children are allowed to attend although the magic is not targeted at the young ones.


Members of the Halifax Magic Club run the gamut from beginner to seasoned professional. Some members do TV shows and corporate events, some do birthday parties and family gatherings, and some do ticketed public shows and busking.

Vincenzo Ravina is an award-winning magician from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He has performed on the CW's hit show, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, as well as CTV News and Global News.

*Actual Magic*, his 2023 Fringe show, won the Audience Choice Award at the Halifax Fringe Festival.

His magic is surreal, mystifying, and absurd. At his show, you may end up wearing Mind-Reading Glasses, bestowing luck to the unlucky, trying to the divine the future, testing out a Coincidence Machine, or cowering in fear at the might of the Ancient and Mystical Balloon of Ultimate Power. No matter what, you'll end up laughing and amazed.
