Please join us in Sparta on Saturday November 23, 2024, for a once-a-year Quaker event to make your own holiday decoration.
The ticket price includes a variety of materials (fresh greenery, ornamental botanicals such as dried hydrangeas and holly, ribbon for bows etc.), a container (a black urn, decorative snowshoe or vintage mason jar), and folks with experience ready to assist.
New this year is a limited supply of a new holiday decor item - a full-sized snowshoe which can be decorated with all the same materials (ensure you purchase the Add-On $45 Snowshoe ticket instead of the basic Urn ticket - same price, same materials but with a snowshoe instead of an urn).
For those of you interested in smaller-scale decorating, we also have a quantity of vintage Mason jars which can be decorated with greenery, ribbons etc. for a festive indoor display (purchase an Add-On Mason Jar ticket for $20).
You can attend this event at your convenience, anytime between 10am and 1pm, allowing at least 30 minutes to complete your urn. More than one person can work on a single urn if you prefer (in case you'd like to bring children etc.).
There will also be home-made refreshments from Killdeer Food Company available for a donation.
100% of the proceeds from this event will support LOCAL service programs including projects for at-risk youth and other community initiatives.
