Join the Horizons youth team for this hybrid online and in-person social group for girls and gender-non-conforming youth (12yrs+) with ASD and/or difficulties with socialising, who are interested in visual storytelling.

The focus of the group will be on planning, making and talking about individual and/or collaborative visual storytelling projects based on participants’ interests. A possible collaborative project could be to produce a video/short film around the theme of what it’s like to be a girl/gender-non-conforming youth on the spectrum.

This group is for clients and their siblings (if they are also girls/gender-non-conforming youth) ages 12yrs+.

In this program youth will:

-Interact with other TVCC clients like them

-Participate in self-expression activities to develop self-awareness

-Learn different visual storytelling techniques (e.g. video, photography, writing scripts/narration)

Participant Criteria:

TVCC clients and their siblings ages 12+ who are girls/gender-non-conforming youth with an ASD diagnosis and/or with difficulties socializing.

Able to participate in group activities and discussion with minimal support

Interested in art/film/creative projects

Participants from outside the London area are welcome to join for the virtual sessions only (3 sessions)
