Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ peoples are disproportionately targeted for violence across Canada.

This two-day event will centre Manitoba families of MMIWG2S+ and provide an opportunity for three levels of government to hear from them directly.

A presentation of priorities identified by families and communities is included in the agenda, as well as a consultation session regarding Call for Justice 1.7 and the development of the National Indigenous and Human Rights Ombudsperson.
