About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

We’ll be making Valentine’s Day crafts throughout the event, including cards, mask chains, buttons, and other fun projects to take home or share with someone special! This is a relaxed, creative space to enjoy crafting together in a COVID-conscious, mask-mandatory environment.

We’ll have all the supplies provided, including craft paper, markers, beads, buttons, chains, and other materials to help you make your creations. Mask chains are a great way to add some personal flair to your mask and make it easier to carry when you’re not wearing it. Our button-making station will let you design custom buttons with your own messages, designs, or artwork. If you enjoy card-making, we’ll have everything you need to create personalized Valentine’s Day cards for your loved ones.

If you have specific craft supplies you prefer to use, or if you feel more comfortable bringing your own materials, we encourage you to do so! You can bring beads, stickers, paper, or any other items that you’d like to incorporate into your crafts. There’s no pressure to participate in a particular activity — you’re welcome to work on whatever craft feels right for you.

The space is accessible, and we’ve set up several seating options to accommodate different needs. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where you can connect with others while engaging in a fun, creative activity. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just want to try something new, there’s something for everyone!

If you’re planning to attend, we ask that you take two rapid COVID tests at least 48 hours apart, with one test taken on the day of the event to help keep everyone safe. If you’re feeling unwell, have any symptoms of illness, or have been in close contact with someone who is sick, we encourage you to stay home and rest. Your health and the safety of others come first, and there will always be more Mask 4 Mask hangouts in the future! We appreciate you being thoughtful and helping us maintain a COVID-conscious community space.
