Basic Watercolor Techniques and Demonstration (30 minutes)

Introduction to watercolor tools and materials (brushes, paints, paper). Demonstration of basic techniques: Wet-on-wet. Wet-on-dry. Blending and layering. Explanation of color theory and mixing.

Originally from Mongolia, Khuslen owned and operated her own art studio before relocating to Canada. She is now bringing her passion for art to the Vancouver Metro Area by hosting engaging and creative art workshops. This is your chance to learn watercolor techniques and create your own masterpiece under the guidance of an experienced artist.

Where is the workshop located?

The workshop will be held in the party room of our residential building, conveniently located in 525 Foster Avenue, Coquitlam BC . Detailed directions will be provided upon registration.

Do I need any prior experience in painting?

No prior experience is needed! This workshop is beginner-friendly and open to participants of all skill levels.

What should I bring to the workshop?

We will provide all materials.

How long is the workshop?

The workshop typically lasts for 3 hours.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little paint on, just in case.

Is there an age limit for participants?

The workshop is designed for adults, but teens (13+) are also welcome with a parent or guardian's permission.

How many people will be in the workshop?

To ensure an intimate and interactive experience, the workshop is limited to 15 participants.

Is parking available?

Yes, free street parking is available.

How much does the workshop cost, and how do I pay?

The workshop fee is 35. Payment can be made online during registration.

What is the cancellation or refund policy?

Cancellations made 48 hours before the workshop will receive a full refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made after this period will not be refunded.

Can I bring food or drinks?

You’re welcome to bring your own non-alcoholic drinks if you’d like.
