About this event

The Art of Letting Go

Do you ever find yourself stuck in cycles of negative thinking, even when you want to let them go? In these meditation classes, you'll discover practical techniques to let go of negative minds and break free from self-limiting thoughts. These methods will empower you to cultivate an inner space of clarity and happiness, helping you become a more positive, confident, and resilient person.

These classes include two guided meditations and a talk on nurturing deeper inner peace and a clear sense of purpose and direction in our lives. After each class, there is time for Q&A.

Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience with meditation is required. You do not need to bring anything with you, and the meditation is conducted on chairs (though you are welcome to bring a cushion if you prefer).

The classes are held in the peaceful, friendly, and comfortable surroundings of the First Christian Reformed Church.

Class dates & topics:

Nov 7: Letting Go of Overthinking
Nov 14: Letting Go of Anxiety
Nov 21: Letting Go of Hurt Feelings
Nov 28: Letting Go of Negative Self-Talk
Dec 5: Letting Go of Guilt
Dec 12: Letting Go of Resentment

By attending these classes, you will develop practical skills for letting go of these negative minds and cultivating a more positive mindset.
