CAMP DESCRIPTION
During the eco-adventure camp, participants will immerse themselves in the wonders of the natural world. Campers will be able to explore the sights and sounds of Beaver Creek Conservation Area through guided sensory hikes and capture the essence of their surroundings using natural tools to create artistic wonders. In addition, campers will uncover the fascinating realm of wildlife tracking and identification, using technology to study the behaviors of birds, bats, and other creatures. Equipped with nature navigation tools, campers will decode environmental clues to forecast weather patterns and navigate with precision. Moreover, they'll discover how to cultivate wildlife-friendly gardens, and through nature mindfulness practices, they'll uncover the serene yet vibrant microcosms of the undergrowth, revealing hidden marvels at every turn. Join us for an adventure that sparks imagination and fosters a deep connection to the world around us!
CAMPER INFO
Camp programs take place outdoors with limited access to indoor facilities. Campers must be dressed for seasonal weather conditions and wear appropriate hiking footwear suitable for walking trails. They should be comfortable walking 3 km (with breaks) before signing up. Closer to your camp date, an orientation package will be provided to parents/guardians that outlines what to bring, how to dress, and a general camp schedule. It is important to note that meals will not be provided, and the water at Beaver Creek Conservation Area is not potable, so make sure to send campers with extra water!
There is limited accessibility at Beaver Creek. The trails, valleys, and rugged terrain make it difficult to accommodate campers with reduced mobility. If your camper has accessibility needs, please contact us at Beaver Creek (306-374-2474) to see what accommodations or alternatives may be available to support their experience.

From captivating encounters with plants and animals to hands-on crafts and activities tailored to each week's adventure theme, your child will forge a deeper connection with the natural world.
Ideal for young explorers aged 8-11, our camps run from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Wednesday to Friday, during select weeks in July and August. Don't let your child miss out on this chance to create cherished memories and cultivate a lifelong love for nature!
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Cancellation Policy: Things happen! Meewasin reserves the right to cancel programming with short notice due to extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event that we are unable to run a scheduled tour for any reason, your ticket will be made fully transferrable for an alternate date or a full refund will be offered.
Weather Disclaimer: This is an outdoor experience and this tour will go rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and come prepared. We do not operate in temperatures higher than +40C, nor do we operate when high smoke registered at +11 is forecasted on the AQI. In the event of extreme weather, our staff will contact you to discuss alternate options.

As we make our schedules ahead of time, Meewasin requires advance notice of cancellation. Tickets may be transferable to another guest or to an alternate date depending on tour availability. In the event you prefer a refund, our refund policy applies to all tickets.

Approx 13km south of Saskatoon. Starting at Lorne Ave, take Hwy 219 south. At about 12km you will see a sign "Beaver Creek East", do not turn here, continue past this sign 1km to a sign on the right reading “Beaver Creek Conservation Conservation Area.” Turn right and follow the road to parking lot.
Ages 8-11
Our three day Eco-Adventure Camps cost $150, plus applicable taxes and fees.
Our camps run from Wednesday to Friday on these weeks: July 9-11; July 23-25; August 6-8; August 20-22.

Unfortunately, we do not offer before and after care. Please make arrangements to drop-off and pick-up your camper on time. Camp starts at 9:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm each day.

We try to include different activities with each camp session in a summer, but a majority of the activities will remain the same each week. Our camps will vary slightly from year to year as different summer staff with varied interests join our team, but our camps remain mostly the same year to year.
Camp leaders are knowledgeable Meewasin Interpreters who share a passion for the outdoors and all things nature. They have first aid certifications and are required to present a satisfactory criminal background check with vulnerable sector search upon employment.
