The Torah is often described as "black fire on white fire." While the black fire represents the written words, the white fire symbolizes the spaces between—the unspoken conversations, hidden intentions, and untold stories. It is from these spaces that the rich, creative tradition of midrash emerges.
Join Rabbi Arik and Avi Dolgin as they lead an engaging exploration of midrash and its modern interpretations. Through an examination of classical texts as well as the use of simple theater techniques, we will bring these ancient texts to life, allowing the characters to speak, evolve, and interact with the present moment. No theater experience is required – just a willingness to listen, learn, and explore.
