Join TVCC's Therapeutic Recreation team and Connections Music Therapy for a parent and child series for toddlers and preschoolers! This is a nurturing and inclusive music therapy program designed specially for young children with special needs and their caregivers. Led by Jess Dickie of Connections Music Therapy, this program will utilize facets of music therapy and expressive arts to foster connection, communication, and creativity through engaging musical activities, offering a joyful space for families to bond and explore the therapeutic benefits of music together.

Through this program, participants will:

  • Meet and connect with fellow TVCC families
  • Learn ways to enhance musical exploration in your home
  • Increase physical literacy and play skills though games, songs, dance and bubbles

Participant criteria:

  • Current TVCC client (or eligible to become one) ages 18 months to 3 years old accompanied by parent/caregiver
  • Siblings 3 and under (including babies in arms) are welcome to attend and must be registered
  • Able to participate safely in group activities
  • Able to follow along with a group with or without accommodations

The cost for the 4 week session is $50 (per family) payable to Connections Music Therapy. Once you register, we will send you payment instructions. Families may submit receipts to SSAH or Passport funding. To learn more about Connections Music Therapy, visit www.connectionsmusictherapy.com
