Liubomyr Kliufinskyi - Viola
He was born in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine where at the age of 6 he began studying the violin. He attended the D. Sichynskyi Ivano-Frankivsk Music College and the National Music Academy of Ukraine, specializing in the viola. Throughout his studies, he participated in various concerts, competitions, and festivals. In 2015, he received the Presidential Scholarship of Ukraine for his outstanding academic achievements. Liubomyr has since participated in various orchestral projects with Ukrainian and international orchestras across Europe. Now based in Canada, he actively performs with his wife, Solomiya Kasinchuk, as part of their duet, ViolaSet. Their activities are charitable, aimed at supporting Ukraine.

Solomiya Kasinchuk - Viola
She was born in the city of Ternopil, Ukraine where at the age of 6 she began studying the violin. After graduating, she continued her education at the Ternopil Music College and the National Music Academy of Ukraine. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees and maintained an active concert schedule, performing with various ensembles in Ukraine and abroad. Solomiya has participated in various masterclasses, festivals and concerts. She is now based in Canada and with her husband Liubomyr Kliufinskyi, performs as part of their duet, ViolaSet. Their activities are charitable, aimed at supporting Ukraine.

Arthur Safronov - Flute
He was born in the city of Kherson, Ukraine where at the age of 11 he began studying at the Kherson Music School in the flute class. He later enrolled at the Kherson College of Music where he graduated as a “Classical Flutist.” Arthur became a laureate of many national competitions, but wanted to go beyond the boundaries of classical music. He studied improvisation, beatboxing, flute beatboxing, and experimenting with various contemporary styles, such as R&B, hip-hop, modern classical, drum and bass, jazz, funk, and many others. He has since participated in numerous master classes, festivals and wind and symphony orchestras around the world. Arthur is also a part of the Ukrainian Band “Faino” and “ViolaSet.”

Alona Mylanych - Piano
A pianist, composer, arranger, and teacher from Ukraine. Alona grew up in a small town surrounded by classical and folk music from an early age. Her greatest inspiration came from her mother, a professional musician and guitar teacher. After finishing school, Alona chose the path of music and earned three higher education degrees, Master’s, Bachelor’s, and Specialist, in the fields of Music Art, Ethics, and Esthetics in Ukraine. She specialized as a piano teacher, concertmaster, and ensemble performer. She has worked internationally and in 2022 emigrated to Toronto. She has performed with the France Choir, Ensemble Vocal Les Voix du Coeur and works with students through Wizz Kids, Marsman Studio and Leslieville Music School.

Is there a refund Policy?

Since a portion of the proceeds will be donated to humanitarian aid to Ukraine, we will not be issuing refunds to this event.

Is there assigned seating?

No, the seating for the performance is first come, first serve.

There is free admission for children, but is there an age limit?

Yes, the age limit is 15. Anyone younger will not have to pay for a ticket.

What transportation methods are available to me?

Old Mill is easily accessible by public transportation or by car. It is located right next to Old Mill TTC Station and has a big outdoor parking lot.

Is there free parking?

Yes, with each Ticket purchase you qualify for free parking. Please let us know if you require this and we can Email you a PDF. You will need to print this in advance and display it on your car’s dashboard. We will also have copies available at the event if you cannot print it on your own.

Is there food or drinks available?

Unfortunately no food will be available. However, there will be a cash bar serving wine, beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages to purchase.
