About this event

  • Event lasts 8 hours

Welcome to Mxiɬp Xewílh (Cedar Trail) Grand Opening Ride!

Join us for an exciting adventure from Strawberry Pass to BlackJack Ski Club. This event is a celebration of nature, community, and the joy of riding. Whether you're a seasoned rider or a beginner, this trail offers breathtaking views and a chance to connect with the beauty of the land.

Envisioned more than 15 years ago by community members, the Mxiɬp Xewílh (Cedar Trail) has been a three year construction project for the Kootenay Columbia Trails Society(KCTS), a 17km relatively wide and smooth beginner mountain bike trail connecting between Strawberry Pass(start of the Seven Summits trail) and Blackjack Ski Club, via the newly widened and surfaced Aquaduct and Adventure Trails.

Please register in advance so we know how much food and beverages to prepare for!
