This workshop will provide some ways for entrepreneurs to better use AI in their business, especially around communications and storytelling, and will provide entrepreneurs key frameworks to navigate AI platforms from a risk and ethical perspective.

About the Speaker
Vasie is a seasoned leader with experience both in the public and private sectors developing strategic communication plans, data-driven business strategies and campaigns and creating unique company initiatives. She has led, guided, and trained organizations and executives on thought leadership, media training, public outreach and crisis communications in complex and highly regulated sectors. She has lived and worked in Canada and abroad giving her a global view on corporate communication.
She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Ottawa in Political Science, a Master of Science in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh, and an Executive MBA from Ivey Business School.
In 2020, she was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women through the Women’s Executive Network.
She is also an accomplished travel photographer and shoe designer.

Not at all! DMZ Masterclass is open to any community member, whether it’s a student, a business owner, an industry professional, a professor, or anyone else!
The DMZ Sandbox is located within the TMU Student Learning Center at 341 Yonge St on the corner of Yonge and Gould Street, north of Dundas Square. Upon entering the building, take the stairs on the right all the way to the 3rd floor. We are the first door on the left.
Register for DMZ Masterclass (https://dmz.torontomu.ca/masterclass/), sign up for classes via Eventbrite, and start showing up! You need to attend at least 5 Masterclasses to earn your first badge.

If you sign up for a DMZ Masterclass but can no longer attend, we ask that you please cancel your ticket in advance through the confirmation email you received with your ticket. This will allow your spot to open up to a participant who will be able to attend instead.
