About Windsor-Essex Families Matter:
Windsor-Essex Families Matter is a Black-led parents group that formed after recognizing the importance of supporting parents and families navigating the healthcare system, as well as the racial inequality in the health care system which is most often indirect and systemic.
WE Families Matter provides access to meaningful participation in the healthcare system and access to culturally relevant supports and awareness and information to black and racialized, and low-income parents in order to promote confidence and empowerment in order to successfully navigate such systems to better support their children.
Assisting black, racialized, and low-income families through resources, workshops, one-one-one support, and community partnerships to provide education and support in the healthcare system living in Windsor-Essex.
