New Friends Camping Trip for Sapphics at Cedars Campground
Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of connection, fun, and memories as we close out the camping season with the New Friends Camping Trip for Sapphics at Cedars Campground – For the LGBTQ Community on Saturday, October 12/13, 2024! Whether you're a seasoned camper or it's your first time, this event promises to be an amazing opportunity to meet new people, enjoy the outdoors, and dance the night away.
Event Highlights:
- Check-in at 10:00 AM on Saturday – Settle in, meet your fellow campers, and explore the campground before the festivities begin! Our site number will be disclosed via email after you have purchased a ticket.
- Speed Friending at 6:00 PM – Kick off the evening at the bar with a fun and interactive speed friending session, where you'll meet other like-minded sapphics and forge new connections in a casual and friendly environment.
- Private Bonfire at 8:00 PM – Gather around the fire for cozy chats, marshmallow roasting, and that perfect campfire atmosphere. Bring your foods of choice to our fancy barbeque. Feel the warmth of the flames and the community as we get ready for the night ahead.
- 70s Dance Party at 10:00 PM – It's time to hit the barn for a 70s-themed dance party! Dust off your bell-bottoms and disco moves for an epic night of music, laughter, and dancing under the stars.
Check-out time is 2:00 PM on Sunday, giving you plenty of time to relax and soak in the final moments of the weekend.
Cabins Available: For those who prefer not to bring a tent, cabins are available at Cedars. You will need to book these accommodations yourself, so be sure to check availability in advance! https://www.cedarscampground.com/rates
While Cedars Campground is a welcoming place for the entire queer community, this event is designed specifically for sapphics. We have secured an exclusive spot for our group, conveniently located near the washrooms for added comfort.
