At the YMCA Community Hub, Newcomer Youth Employment Services, is designed to support young newcomers in their journey towards securing meaningful employment opportunities in their new communities. We provide a welcoming and inclusive space where newcomer youth can receive support and guidance as they pursue their career paths.
The Community Hub offers a range of services tailored to the unique needs of newcomer youth as they explore career options, navigate the labour market and seek advice on advancing their education and training.

We work with youth who have limited English skills, and we have two employment coaches who speak Arabic and Spanish to provide additional support.
No, this is not a job fair. At the YMCA, we don't provide direct job placements. Instead, our services focus on supporting you with resume building, job search assistance, interview preparation, and job retention training.
Yes, we recommend registering in advance as spaces are limited. You can register through our Eventbrite page. However, walk-ins will be accepted if space permits.
While there is no need to bring specific documents, we suggest bringing a notebook and a pen to take notes. If you have a resume, feel free to bring it along for review during the session.
